    Kahoots Grain Free Salmon Recipe is our most food-sensitivity-friendly formula - making it a great choice if your pet has food sensitivities or allergies to specific proteins, such as beef, lamb, chicken, or pork, and even certain grains. This recipe can be easily rotated with our Grain Free Beef Recipe and contains all of the nutrients necessary for supporting a healthy pet, specifically: vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids (omegas), probiotics, prebiotics, and amino acids. With salmon as the first ingredient, Kahoots Salmon Recipe is ideal for puppies, adults, and seniors with dry, itchy skin. If your dog is prone to topical yeast infections and/or hot spots, this is the recipe is for you!​

    FEEDING GUIDELINES

    How much food your dog needs each day depends upon size, level of activity, age and other factors. When feeding, use this table as a general guide and adjust as needed.       My dogs love it!

      We stopped into a Kahoots store in Cave Creek a few weeks ago and talked with a young man that was very knowledgeable about animal nutrition. He supplied us with a generous amount of samples that we took home and tried out on our dogs. They appeared to love it, but the grain free beef was their favorite. I have been feeding them the beef for a week or so now, and they are still loving it, which is not usually the case. In the past, my dogs have initially loved a new dog food yet turned up their nose at it a week or so later, this is not the case with this food. I have also in the past found myself adding things like fresh cooked chicken, rice, cottage cheese, yogurt, etc., to their food in order to get them to eat it, but they are happy to just eat this dog food by itself. I am amazed.

      There are currently so many dog food brands on the market that it is hard to choose the one you think is best. I have tried many, but this dog food seems to be around for the long haul. I finally feel like I am doing the best I can do for my dogs for a long healthy life!

      My finicky older dog likes this kibble. I find the kibble size to be great for both the eleven year old Doberman/Lab/Blue Heeler - 60 pounds and the five year old Pug/Chihuahua/Beagle - 25 pounds.

      They are neither fat or skinny and we walk about 10 miles a week. Food is always available.

    Kahoots Grain Free Beef Recipe because they have similar protein & fat content. Rotational feeding is encouraged to help prevent food intolerances from developing. It also helps prevent boredom. Just like humans, dogs like variety. Always remember when transitioning food to do it slowly, over the course of a week. You'll need to start by mixing in about 75% of their old food, with about 25% of the new food. Gradually, you'll increase the percentage of new food your dog gets each day.
