That's why this multi-protein recipe utilizes free range New Zealand Lamb as the primary source of protein, followed by fresh whitefish meal for healthy skin and coat.     How much food your dog needs each day depends upon size, level of activity, age and other factors. When feeding, use this table as a general guide and adjust as needed.       no skin issues

      I began feeding Kahoots Lamb&Rice about 3 months ago and have nothing but great to write about the product. I am able to feed less, they are actually chewing instead of inhaling it. My 13 .3 yrs old and her coat started to look healthy again. And my 8yrs old Mix accepts the kibbles as treats. Superior product.

      Been using Kahoots food for years. Our boys really enjoy this dry food. Never leave a trace bin their bowl. It seems the salmon is also a "treat" for them. We used to use an in house brand at a local warehouse store, but it gave them terrific gas (really not so terrific).

    My dog can't tolerate chicken, can they eat the Lamb & Rice formula?

    Yes! Our Kahoots Lamb & Rice contains NO chicken. Our lamb formula does include eggs for the highly bioavailable protein they provide, even though they come from chickens, eggs generally are not a trigger those with chicken sensitivities. While very rare, if your dog has a true chicken allergy rather than intolerance, please talk with your vet about their dietary needs.

    What can I rotate with your Lamb & Rice formula? Why is rotational feeding important?

    Kahoots Chicken Meal & Brown Rice Recipe because of their similar protein and fat contents. Rotational feeding is encouraged to help prevent food intolerances from developing. It also helps prevent boredom. Just like humans, dogs like variety. Always remember when transitioning food to do it slowly, over the course of a week. You'll need to start by mixing in about 75% of their old food, with about 25% of the new food. Gradually, you'll increase the percentage of new food your dog gets each day.
