1. Sponsor
The Kahoots $50 Gift Card Monthly Drawing (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by Kahoots, Inc. (“Sponsor”), 1444 Main Street, Ramona, CA 92065.
2. Agreement to these Rules
By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion. Entries that do not comply with these Official Rules are void.
3. Eligibility
The Promotion is open only to natural persons who, at the time of entry, are (a) at least 18 years of age and (b) legal residents of the State of California or the State of Arizona.
The following are not eligible: employees, officers and directors of Sponsor and of its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members (whether related or not) of any of the foregoing.
Sponsor may require any entrant or potential winner to provide proof of age, identity and state of residence before a prize is awarded. Failure or refusal to provide that proof results in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner in accordance with Section 10.
The Promotion is void outside California and Arizona, and void where otherwise prohibited or restricted by law.
4. Promotion Period and Monthly Entry Periods
The Promotion begins on October 1, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time and ends on September 30, 2027 at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time (the “Promotion Period”), unless ended earlier under Section 14.
The Promotion Period is divided into twelve (12) separate entry periods (each an “Entry Period”), with a separate drawing for each:
- The first Entry Period runs from October 1, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time to October 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time.
- Each following Entry Period is one calendar month, beginning on the first day of the month at 12:00:00 a.m. Pacific Time and ending on the last day of that month at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time, from November 2026 through September 2027.
All times in these Official Rules are Pacific Time. Arizona does not observe daylight saving time. From November 1, 2026 through March 13, 2027, Arizona time is one hour ahead of Pacific Time, so an Entry Period that ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Pacific Time ends at 12:59:59 a.m. the following day in Arizona. At all other times during the Promotion Period, Arizona time and Pacific Time are the same.
An entry is assigned to the Entry Period in which it is received. Entries do not carry over from one Entry Period to the next. The computer systems of Sponsor and its administrator are the official time-keeping devices for the Promotion.
5. How to Enter
There are two ways to enter. Both are free, require no purchase of any kind, use the same entry form, and give an entry identical standing.
Method 1: QR code. Scan a Kahoots QR code displayed at a Kahoots event that promotes the Promotion, and complete the online entry form during an Entry Period. The form will show the Participating Store hosting the event, and you may change it.
Method 2: Online, with no store visit required. Go to kahootsfeedandpet.com/pages/join?c=gc50 during an Entry Period and complete the same entry form, selecting a Participating Store from the list. No visit to any store is required to enter by this method.
The Participating Store shown on your entry is the store where the prize is claimed if you win (see Section 10). It has no effect on your odds. There is one drawing per Entry Period across all Participating Stores.
To be valid, an entry must include all required fields: first name, last name, a valid email address, a Participating Store, the type of pet in the household, and the entrant’s acknowledgment of these Official Rules and of the age and residency requirement. A mobile phone number is optional.
Purchasing any product does not create an entry and does not improve your chances of winning. Entries generated by script, macro, bot or other automated means, and entries submitted using multiple or fraudulent email addresses or identities, are void.
6. Entry Limit and Authorized Account Holder
Limit one (1) entry per person per Entry Period, regardless of how many QR codes a person scans, how many Participating Stores or events a person visits, or how many times the form is submitted.
Entries are identified by email address. If more than one submission in the same Entry Period bears the same email address, or is otherwise determined by Sponsor to come from the same person, only the first valid submission counts as an entry; later submissions in that Entry Period are not additional entries. A person who wants to be entered in a later Entry Period must submit a new entry during that Entry Period.
Any deliberate attempt to exceed this limit, including by using multiple email addresses, multiple identities or any automated means, voids all of that person’s entries in every Entry Period and may result in disqualification from the Promotion entirely.
An entry is deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address given on the entry. “Authorized account holder” means the natural person assigned that email address by the internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with it. A potential winner may be required to show that they are the authorized account holder of the email address on the winning entry.
7. Prizes
One (1) prize is available per Entry Period, for a maximum of twelve (12) prizes during the Promotion Period.
Each prize is one (1) Kahoots gift card with a value of fifty dollars ($50.00). Approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each prize: $50.00. Total ARV of all prizes if all twelve are awarded: $600.00.
The gift card is redeemable in person at any Participating Store. It cannot be redeemed for purchases at kahootsfeedandpet.com or for any online order. It is subject to the Kahoots gift card terms and conditions in effect when it is issued. It is not redeemable for cash except where required by law, including, in California, the right to redeem a remaining balance of less than $10.00 for cash. Sponsor is not responsible for a gift card that is lost, stolen or damaged after it is delivered to the winner.
No cash equivalent, no transfer to another person and no substitution of a prize by a winner is permitted. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the stated prize becomes unavailable. All federal, state and local taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
An Entry Period that receives no eligible entries will not award a prize, and that prize will not be carried over to another Entry Period.
8. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning in each Entry Period depend on the number of eligible entries received during that Entry Period. The Participating Store named on an entry does not affect its odds.
9. Winner Selection
Within seven (7) days after the end of each Entry Period, Sponsor will select one (1) potential winner at random from among all eligible entries received during that Entry Period. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative using a computer-generated random selection, and a record of each drawing will be kept. Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding.
Limit one (1) prize per person during the entire Promotion Period. Entries submitted by a person who has already been confirmed as a winner are not eligible in later drawings.
10. Winner Notification and Claim
A potential winner will be notified by email at the address provided on the entry, and by phone if a phone number was provided, within two (2) days of the drawing.
A potential winner must respond to the notification within five (5) days of the date it is sent. If a potential winner does not respond within that period, cannot be contacted, is found ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at random from the remaining eligible entries for that same Entry Period. Sponsor is not obligated to make more than two (2) alternate selections per Entry Period. If no eligible entries remain or the permitted alternate selections are exhausted, that Entry Period’s prize will go unawarded.
Sponsor may require a winner to sign an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, except where prohibited by law, a publicity release before the prize is awarded.
The prize must be claimed in person at the Participating Store named on the winning entry, or at another Participating Store if Sponsor agrees in advance, during that store’s normal business hours, by the winner, on presentation of valid government-issued photo identification matching the name on the entry. The prize must be claimed within thirty (30) days of the date the winner confirms acceptance. A prize not claimed within that period is forfeited.
11. Publicity
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner’s consent to Sponsor’s use of the winner’s first name, last initial and Participating Store, in any media, for purposes of announcing the winner and for advertising and promotional purposes relating to this Promotion, without further compensation, notice or approval.
12. Privacy, Email, and Text Messages
Information submitted with an entry is collected by Sponsor and handled in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, available at kahootsfeedandpet.com/policies/privacy-policy.
Email. As stated on the entry form, submitting an entry signs the entrant up to receive marketing emails from Sponsor, including pet care tips, store events and offers. Each entrant will also receive an email confirming their entry. An entrant may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any marketing email. Unsubscribing does not cancel, invalidate or reduce the odds of an entry already submitted, and a potential winner who has unsubscribed will still receive prize notifications.
Text messages. Consent to receive text messages is separate, entirely optional, and not a condition of entry or of any purchase. Declining it has no effect on an entry’s validity, the odds of winning, or a winner’s right to claim a prize. An entrant who consents to text messages may receive recurring automated marketing and informational texts; message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and the entrant may reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. A phone number provided without text consent is used only to contact a potential winner.
13. Release of Liability
By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claim, injury, loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in this Promotion or the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize.
14. General Conditions
Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, or not received for any reason, or for any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in any transmission or communication, or for any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries.
Sponsor may end the Promotion at the close of any Entry Period by posting notice on this page at least fourteen (14) days before that Entry Period ends. The drawing for every Entry Period that has already begun will still be held.
If for any reason the Promotion cannot be conducted as planned, including because of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Promotion, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual implicated in such conduct and to suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion. If the Promotion is terminated during an Entry Period, Sponsor will conduct that Entry Period’s drawing from among all eligible entries received in it up to the time of termination.
Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
15. Disputes and Governing Law
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Promotion shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and each entrant consents to the jurisdiction of those courts.
In no event will an entrant be entitled to attorneys’ fees or to punitive, incidental or consequential damages.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be struck and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
17. These Rules Govern
Abbreviated descriptions of this Promotion appear on the entry form, on the entry confirmation screen, in emails, and on printed in-store and event materials. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between these Official Rules and any other statement about the Promotion in any other medium, these Official Rules govern.
18. No Platform Affiliation
To the extent this Promotion is promoted on any social media platform, it is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with that platform. Each entrant releases the platform from any liability relating to the Promotion. Any questions, comments or complaints about the Promotion must be directed to Sponsor, not to the platform.
19. Winners List
For the name of the winner of any Entry Period, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Kahoots, Inc., Attn: $50 Gift Card Drawing Winners List, PO Box 2123, Ramona, CA 92065, naming the Entry Period. Requests must be received within sixty (60) days after the end of the Entry Period requested.
20. Participating Stores
The following twenty-five (25) Kahoots locations are Participating Stores for this Promotion:
Alpine, Buckeye, Carefree Hwy, Carlsbad, Chatsworth, Chino Hills, Escondido, Fallbrook, Gaslamp, Grossmont, Hesperia, Huntington Beach, Menifee, Moorpark, Murrieta, Norco, Poway, Ramona, Rancho Peñasquitos, Rancho San Diego, Riverside, San Tan Valley, Solana Beach, Temecula, 4S Ranch.
Store addresses are listed at kahootsfeedandpet.com/pages/locations. A Kahoots location that opens during the Promotion Period is not a Participating Store unless Sponsor adds it by posting an update to this list.
